-(f. Oslo, 1968), er bosatt i Skiptvet. Arbeider hovedsakelig fra Skiptvet og Gildeskål. Hun er utdannet ved Kunstakademiet i Trondheim (1995). Parallelt til individuelt arbeid som omfatter video, fotografi, lydkunst og performance, har hun formidlet, skrevet om og undervist i samtidskunst. I samarbeide med kunstnerkollega Yngvild Færøy står hun bak “BallongMagasinet” som har produsert og vist en mengde radio- og lydkunst prosjekter. Da hun i 1993 startet «Balkong» sammen med Geir Tore Holm, med deres eget hjem som visningssted, ble spørsmål om hva kunst kan være og i hvilke sammenhenger den inngår i, sentralt for deres arbeid med kunst som praktisk dialog. De hjemlige erfaringene med kunstpraksis har ført til andre aktiviteter. De etablerte sammen med Kamin Lertchaiprasert og Rirkrit Tiravanija, kunstnere fra Thailand, «Sørfinnset skole/ the nord land» i 2003, i Gildeskål, Nordland, med fokus på naturbruk, kunnskapsutveksling og småskala arkitektur og arbeider nå videre i sammenhenger hvor bred estetikk inngår i videre økologisk forståelse av samfunn, menneske og natur. For åtte år siden flyttet Jørgensen og Holm til gården Øvre Ringstad, derifra blir dagene delt mellom kunstproduksjon og gårdsliv.\\

Together with artist Yngvild Færøy and “BallongMagasinet”, she is responsible for an extensive amount of sound and radio-art productions. In 1993 she founded “Balkong” with Geir Tore Holm. With their own home serving as a exhibition space, the question of what art can be and in what context it can be contained became central to their common work, with a focus on art as practical dialogue. Art practice related to these domestic experiences has led to other long term collaborations, such as with Thai artists Kamin Lertchaiprasert and Rirkrit Tiravanija and their “land project” in Chiang Mai, Thailand. The four of them founded Sørfinnset skole/the nord land in 2003, located in Gildeskål. This project focuses on natural resource use, knowledge exchange, and small scale architecture. Eight years ago, Jørgensen and Holm moved to the farm Øvre Ringstad. Now it is a standalone measure of how to use life and the days in a meaningful way; combining theory and practice, the urban and the rural, the social and the private, nature and culture.// \\
