Paviljong er et samarbeid mellom kunstnere med en felles interesse for langtidsstudier av sted som kunstnerisk prosess. Sentralt i Paviljong er en refleksjon rundt nasjonalparker, naturreservat og vern av landområder både som idé med dets historiske rulleblad, men også som speiling av utbredte tenkemåter og verdisyn i ulike tidsperioder. Som en del av prosjektet utvikles en modell for kunstnerisk (sam)arbeid der verkes kan reaktivises for eksempel ti, tretti og femti år frem i tid. Slik vil arbeidene, sammen med randsonen, fungere som en “tidslinse”, ikke bare for forandringene av området, men også for endringer i forståelsen for samspillet mellom liv i sonen.
Kunstnergruppen består av Andrea Bakketun, Espen Sommer Eide, Geir Tore Holm, Øyvind Novak Jenssen, Søssa Jørgensen, Signe Lidén, Marie Nerland, Randi Nygård og Karoline Sætre. Prosjektleder er Signe Lidén og Jiska Huizing er produsent, mens Hild Borchgrevink er skribent.

Pavilion is an artist initiative based in Norway formed by a group of artists with a common interest in long-term studies of place as artistic process. Central to the initiative is an artistic reflection on national parks, nature reserves and land preservation both as an idea with its historical record, but also as a mirror of values in connection to land right throughout times. Pavilion is developing a model where works of art can function as a “time lens”, not only for the physical changes in the area, but also for changes in the understanding of the interaction between life in the zone. The model we want to test is a form of library of methods, instruments and documentation in order to reactivate the work in five, ten, thirty and fifty years ahead from now. The group of artists consists of Andrea Bakketun, Espen Sommer Eide, Geir Tore Holm, Øyvind Novak Jenssen, Søssa Jørgensen, Signe Lidén, Marie Nerland, Randi Nygård and Karoline Sætre. Jiska Huizing is the producer of Pavilion Wetland, while Signe Lidén is the project leader and Hild Borchgrevink is Pavilion´´ s writer.
